September Update
By Gunter | September 2, 2010
Hi Everybody,
Last time I said I got an offer for a role, I did but due to budgets the movie is postponed. Right now taking it easy until August, only light workouts. My plan is to hit the gym hard and start first of August training with Charles Glass. Want to put some muscle back on until the end of the year and start dieting first of New Year and hopefully compete at the Arnolds. It all depends on an invitation for the Arnolds. I am glad I got good supplements from SAN that I put to the test already, because without that, my diet would get expensive.
Last time I calculated I was just for food around $1500 a month. Wish I could go to McDonald’s and eat 99c burgers, but unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. I am excited for my adventure but not gone lie, it will be hard and I will be put to the test and I will see if I can still manage to give 110%. Not to forget I could allow to be selfish in a lot of ways (time etc.) but with a new born things look much different. All it means is I have to work twice as hard as I use too. Question is; Can I do that? I guess we will all see.
All my best and stay healthy,
Gunter

Life Is Crazy!
By Gunter | August 2, 2010
Hi Everyone,
Since Jake is born things are crazy. I mean we do get sleep, but we run into balancing time. Obviously I need to workout and focus on training too. So far I don’t miss any workouts and I think that keeps everything in balance. It gives you the time for you that you need for you. My wife and I work around our schedules, so that the little one has always somebody with him. I work out when the little guy is with Kim and when I am back she goes and works out. I notice it helps and makes things so easy when you are a team player, that is what relationship, is all about. To many people play the one way road and than you will get stack. The workouts are important because they keep you balanced.
On the way out of the Hospital the nurse told us that she can tell when people take care of their body with workout and nutrition. She said; they recover way faster!
Last couple weeks I was very busy. A lot of auditions and meetings. I filmed one day on the set of Mudman. I had to play a black witch. Low budget but hey it’s a start!
I got an offer to play an interesting character in another movie but more about that next time!
I’ll be back,
Gunter

A Very Happy June
By Gunter | July 25, 2010
Hi Everybody,
June was a crazy month. I experienced a miracle, the birth of my Son Jake Alexander Schlierkamp. He was born June 3rd, he was 3 weeks early. I felt I wasn’t ready, but believe me you never ready. He was 6pounds and 11ounces and 19 ½ inches tall.
The hole day and night was like a dream, but it wasn’t. When I held him the first time
and he opened his eyes it was the most valuable experience I ever had in my live.
My son was born 3:30 in the morning I knew it would be an all niter so I brought
Protein powder, shaker and fruits with me, got to eat! Read the rest of this entry »

People were so nice and polite it was really refreshing to see. It is so nice to see that people love Bodybuilding and Fitness so much. Everybody had questions about nutrition, training and products. Everybody wanted to know when I come back and how I come back. Of course it is simple as “I want to be the best I can be”! Read the rest of this entry »
